The BioComplex is an “emergency service” for treating acne. Its active ingredients help accelerate the healing of pimples and prevent the spread of acne. It contains extracts of hibiscus, chrysanthemum, green tea, camphor, menthol, panthenol.

What does it do:

• Helps eliminate acne quickly and prevents it from reappearing.
• Shrinks the pores and regulates the activity of the sebaceous glands.

Active ingredients:

Sage extract (Salvia miltiorrhiza flower/leaf/ root extract):

• contains phytoestrogens – substances of plant origin that resemble human estrogens in their chemical structure and are capable of locally mimicking their effects on your skin; in addition, phytoestrogens not only slow down the aging process but also suppress the production of skin fat and normalize melanin synthesis, preventing the appearance of comedones and acne;
• is a source of linoleic acid that is essential for oily skin: its deficiency always accompanies both youth and adulthood acne;
• is a source of vitamin PP – a bonus for your face: PP (nicotinic acid) is part of the enzymes involved in cellular respiration; without this vitamin our skin would not be able to breathe!
• nicotinic acid lowers the level of triglycerides and fatty acids – components of skin fat;
• nicotinic acid soothes irritated skin and helps in removing redness and flaking.

Hibiscus extract (Hibiscus sabdariffa flower extract):

• a source of tartaric, citric and malic acids, which provide deep cleansing of the pores and enhance the removal of keratinized cells;
• a source of vitamin C and flavonoids – components of the skin’s antioxidant protection;
• a source of polysaccharides that normalize skin’s water balance.

Green tea extract (Camellia sinensis leaf extract):

• is a powerful antioxidant that prevents the destruction of the lipid film, strengthens the epidermal barrier and reduces moisture loss;
• contains tannins that improve blood circulation in the skin, energize it, and have antimicrobial activity;
• contains caffeine, which shrinks pores and activates the metabolic processes in the skin.

 Camphor — extracted from camphor wood:

• shrinks the pores and regulates the function of the sebaceous glands;
• has antiseptic effect and helps in eliminating acne;
• has a slight whitening effect.

Menthol:

• shrinks the pores and reduces the activity of the sebaceous glands;
• improves blood circulation and metabolism in skin cells;
• combats acne by inhibiting the spread of bacteria.

Application:

Apply 2-3 times a day to the inflamed areas and the skin around them. For best results, use in combination with other Master Herb products.
